Woman Steals Daughter’s Identity

A Faulkner County convicted felon was arrested Thursday for felony financial identity fraud and theft.

Jonesboro police arrested 47-year old Heather Paige Butler, of Greenbrier, after investigators learned she applied for a human resources manager position with Zips Car Wash in Jonesboro in 2015 using her daughter’s name and Social Security number.

According to court documents, while employed with Zips Car Wash, Butler admitted to using the corporate business card for personal use including airline flights, a hotel stay, meals, and gas.

Butler appeared before Craighead County District Court Judge Tommy Fowler Thursday afternoon.

Butler is charged with felony financial identity fraud; felony theft, less than $5,000 but greater than $1,000; and felony fraudulent use of a credit card.

Butler’s bond was set at $10,000 and she is due back in court on June 27th.
