ASP Accident

A weekend traffic accident in Jefferson County has claimed the life of a Conway man.

Arkansas State Police say 34-year old Steven D. Rhor, Jr. died when his vehicle collided with the rear of a semi on I-530 South of exit 31 in White Hall.

Authorities say the accident happened Saturday night just before 9:00pm.

Meanwhile, a Friday afternoon accident in Lawrence County kills one and injures three others.

State police say 42-year old Stacy Houston, of Sedgwick, died in the three-vehicle collision that happened just after 3:30pm on Highway 63 in Sedgwick.

Authorities say Houston was traveling southbound on Highway 63 and hydroplaned spinning into the northbound lane and struck another vehicle and was then struck by a third vehicle.

Injured in the accident were 37-year old Billy Nelson, of Imboden, 40-year old Kristin Austin, of Jonesboro and an unidentified female child.
