September 03, 2019
CrainMedia

University of Central Arkansas is hosting a grand opening and ribbon cutting for its Campus Recreation Challenge Course, which includes obstacles, a high ropes course, a zipline and a rock wall.
UCA President Houston Davis, UCA Director of Campus Recreation Richard Hammond and a representative from UCA SGA will speak at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, during a grand opening ceremony at the Challenge Course, located at the southwest corner of the UCA campus, behind the HPER Center.
After a brief presentation and ribbon cutting, guests can enjoy complimentary refreshments from Kona Ice, Arkansas Pineapple Whip and Andy’s Frozen Custard. Those who want to try the course must complete a waiver onsite and be dressed appropriately.
The purpose of the UCA Challenge Course is to provide an environment where UCA and the community have the opportunity to participate in a variety of outdoor activities that encourage team building, self-growth and recreation. MORE
