Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrests

On December 12, 2017, White County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Andrew Palmer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Honey Hill Road for speeding.

During the course of the traffic stop, 27-year old Stacie Jackson and 40-year old Shad Johnson, both of Searcy, were found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and suspected Heroin.

CADTF Investigators were notified and took over the investigation.

Jackson and Johnson were both arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Johnson was also charged with Possession of Prescription Pills With Intent To Deliver and Tampering With Physical Evidence.

Both subjects were transported to the White County Detention Center where they were held on no bond pending first appearance.

CADTF will prepare a case file for the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for filing of formal charges.
