State Plant Board’s Pesticide Committee To Meet On November 26th

The Arkansas Agriculture Department’s State Plant Board voted on Monday to initiate rulemaking proceedings regarding the use of dicamba for “over-the-top” applications on dicamba-resistant cotton and soybean plants to control weeds.

The next step in the regulatory process is for the Plant Board’s Pesticide Committee to further refine usage restrictions under the framework of a petition submitted on October 15th.

The date for the Pesticide Committee meeting has changed from Thursday, November 15th to Monday, November 26th, starting at 9:30am. The meeting will take place at the Arkansas Agriculture Department located at 1 Natural Resources Drive in Little Rock.    MORE
