State National Leader In School Bandwidth

The new Arkansas Public School Computer Network now has the capacity to provide internet service at a rate of 1 Megabit per second (1 Mbps) per user to 98 percent of all public schools in the state—more than any other state, according to the 2018 State of the States report from EducationSuperHighway released Tuesday.

“In Arkansas, our students are developing 21st century skills in the classroom to succeed in tomorrow’s workforce,” said Governor Asa Hutchinson. “This requires high-speed Internet access in every school – which is why we upgraded the Arkansas Public School Computer Network and can now provide 1 Mbps per student to 98% of school districts.”     MORE
