An increase of about 20 percent in the market value of endowed funds supporting the University of Arkansas pushed the school’s ranking up seven spots to 94th in an annual report on college endowments.

The UA endowment value increased to $1.199 billion at the close of the 12-month period ending June 30, according to data from the annual National Association of College and University Business Officers-TIAA Study of Endowments.

Harvard University topped the list with a market value of $38.3 billion.

Among other Arkansas Schools, Hendrix College ranked 328th with an endowment valued at $205 million, up 1.1 percent for the year.

Harding University ranked 407th with an endowment of $141.6 million, up 10.5 percent.
