Quorum Court Meetings

The Faulkner County and White County Quorum Courts meet in regular session today.

A very light agenda awaits the White County Quorum Court.  Besides Janet Hibbitts monthly Treasurers Report, there’s an emergency ordinance approving the long-term lease of a used 2018 model Caterpillar Grader and authorizing the borrowing of $221,000.

The docket also sees a report of disposal of old computer equipment at the White County Office of Emergency Management that has been appraised and valued at zero dollars by the White County Assessor.

Tonight’s Quorum Court meeting begins at 7:00pm in the White County Courthouse in Searcy.
Agenda items for the Faulkner County Quorum Court include an appropriation ordinance to amend and supplement Faulkner County Ordinance 17-36 from December of last year, amended carryover.

There’s also a memorandum between counties resolution authorizing the county judge of Faulkner County and the Office of Emergency Management Director of Faulkner County to enter into an agreement of understanding with the counties of Cleburne, Conway, Lonoke, Perry, Pulaski, Van Buren, and White to call for the assistance in emergency and disaster response operations.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 7:00pm in Courtroom A of the Faulkner County Courthouse, 801 Locust Street in Conway.
