May 22 Science Café — ‘CSI & Evidence Collection’

Science Café Little Rock, co-sponsored by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), will hold its next public forum, CSI & Evidence Collection, on May 22. Panelists will discuss crime scene best practices, types of evidence, collection methods and how society defines and responds to crime.

Science Café will be from 7-9 p.m. at Hibernia Irish Tavern, 9700 N. Rodney Parham Road. Science Café is a relaxed opportunity for monthly exchanges with various experts. No reservations are needed, but seating is limited. Admission is free.

This month’s panel will include Bob Lytle, Ph.D., assistant professor, Department of Criminal Justice, University of Arkansas at Little Rock; Payton Tucker, agent, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Little Rock; and Meagan Buchert, Crime Scene Search Unit, Little Rock Police Department.   MORE
