Low Oxygen Level At Lonoke High

Lonoke School District

Classes are resuming as normal today at Lonoke High School after hazmat crews were called out early Thursday morning.

Officials say crews were called to an alternative school building after a “low oxygen” reading.

Authorities hope to have the cause of the low level reading today.

On Thursday morning just after 8:00, students and teachers started to feel shortness of breath.

The fire department, Pulaski County and National Guard hazmat teams responded and discovered very low oxygen levels.
