Izard County Arrests

According to Sheriff Earnie Blackley, on August 27, Jesse Arvil Sanders, age 19 of Calico Rock, was arrested by Izard County Deputies and agents with the 16th District Drug Task Force for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine, unlawful use of a communication device, and unauthorized use of another person’s property to facilitate certain crimes. Sanders’ bond was set at $30,000 with a court date of September 11 in the Izard County Circuit Court.

On August 28, Richard Wayne Huff, age 38 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested by Deputy Nick Taylor for driving on a suspended driver’s license. Huff’s bond was set at $365 with a court date of October 8 in the Izard County District Court.

On August 28, James Thomas Stowe, age 40 of Violet Hill, was arrested by Deputy Toby Smith on a warrant out of Tennessee for felony theft of property. Stowe appeared before Judge Miller for extradition and will be extradited to Tennessee.      MORE
