Hutchinson To Grant Executive Clemency

Governor Asa Hutchinson on Monday announced his intent to grant 19 pardons and 1 restoration of firearm rights only. An additional 22 clemency requests were denied and 1 had no action taken.

Among the pardons: Gary Keymer, of Conway convicted of Criminal Mischief in the first degree, Criminal Mischief in the first degree Revocation and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, to wit: Marijuana in 1997 and 1999 in Van Buren County and 2001 in Pulaski County; Xylina Proffitt Fuentes, of Greenbrier for Violation of Hot Check Law in 2006 in Faulkner County; Keith Burress, of Searcy, convicted of Possession > 9 grams Pseudoephedrine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with Intent to Manufacture a Controlled Substance to wit: Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with Intent to Use and Possession of Pseudoephedrine with Intent to Manufacture a Controlled Substance and Possession of Methamphetamine in 2004 in Jackson and Independence Counties: and Keith K. Baker, of Walnut Ridge. He was convicted of Breaking or Entering and Theft of Property During a Criminal Episode in 2010 in Lawrence County.   MORE
