Guilty Plea To Terroristic Threatening

Seth Stone

Thursday morning Faulkner County Circuit Court proceedings saw a former Conway High School student plead guilty to one count of first-degree terroristic threatening.

20-year old Seth Aldren Stone, who was arrested in February 2017, will be sentenced September 7th

Also yesterday, 25-year old Vennessa Ann Lyons, of Conway, was sentenced to 15 years in state prison for her part in the shooting death of 53-year old Gary Phillips.

Lyons was initially charged with capital murder and two counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor. Prosecutors ultimately lowered the capital murder charge to manslaughter.

She is the last of three suspects sentenced for the killing.  23-year old Keenan Beacham and 33-year old Johnny Reed, Jr., both of Conway, plead guilty to Phillips’ shooting death in January. Both received 30-year sentences.
