Guilty Plea To Conway Couple’s Murder

Hunter Drexler

A Van Buren County man pled guilty Tuesday in the 2015 deaths of Conway couple.

20-year old Hunter Drexler, of Clinton, entered a guilty plea to two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of felony abuse of corpse and two counts of aggravated robbery in the shooting deaths of Robert and Patricia Cogdell.

Drexler is the oldest four people charged and the last to enter a guilty plea.

Drexler was sentenced to 25 years in prison, and at least 70 percent of that term must be served.

The other three co-defendants charged in the murders are Justin Staton, Anastasia Roberts and Connor Atchley.

All pled guilty in the crime and are serving time in prison.
