Greenbrier School Threat

Greenbrier Public Schools

Greenbrier authorities are investigating after a student reported seeing what appeared to be a threat on social media directed toward the Greenbrier School District.

Greenbrier Public Schools Superintendent Scott Spainhour says the post, which indicated there was a threat for the afternoon of April 18th, has been removed from social media.

The district said it immediately reported the post to law enforcement.

There will be a strong law enforcement presence at each Greenbrier school on Wednesday. All buildings will remain locked.

Greenbrier Public Schools posted the announcement on their Facebook page and school district website.
