Governor Announces Appointments

Arkansas-Gov.-Asa-Hutchinson

On Friday, Governor Asa Hutchinson announced the appointments and re-appointments of several people in the listening area to various state boards.

Among the appointments were: Andy Montgomery, of Batesville, re-appointed to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission expiring September 1, 2021; Robert Wright, of Batesville, to the Board of Trustees of Ozarka Technical College. He replaces Jack Yancey and the appointment expires July 1, 2024; Erika Thomas, of Conway, to the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners. She replaces Jennifer Lamb and the appointment expires September 1, 2021; Bill Reid, of Conway, re-appointed to the Arkansas Manufactured Home Commission expiring September 1, 2022; Bill Roachell, of Conway, re-appointed to the Arkansas Manufactured Home Commission expiring September 1, 2019; Frederic Simon, of Conway, re-appointed to the Arkansas Milk Stabilization Board expiring September 12, 2022; Amy Whitehead, of Conway, re-appointed to the Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Board expiring August 1, 2021; and Randy Staley, of Ward, as a Justice of the Peace for the Lonoke County Quorum Court, District 2. He replaces B.J. Weathers and the appointment expires December 31, 2018.
