Batesville and McRae City Council’s and the Faulkner and White County Quorum Court’s meet in regular session today.
New business on the Batesville City Council Agenda includes consideration of a resolution and several ordinances.
Among the Ordinances: approval of an application for a Private Club Permit; amending the Batesville Zoning Districts Map to allow multiple single-family houses on a single specific lot; adopting the City of Batesville Stormwater Management and Drainage Manual; adopting the City of Batesville Street Master Plan Specifications and Details; adopting the City of Batesville Streets and Drainage Technical Specifications and Details; and amending the Batesville Municipal Code.
The resolution under consideration on the docket is authorizing the Mayor to apply for an Outdoor Recreation Matching Grant from Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism.
This afternoon’s meeting begins at 5:30pm at the Batesville Municipal Building, 500 E. Main Street.
The McRae City Council meets at 7:00pm at City Hall, 115 Grand Avenue. AGENDA
It’s a very light agenda for the Faulkner County Quorum Court with standing committees reports and three ordinances for consideration.
Two are appropriation ordinances including salary increases and a new collector’s position.
Tonight’s meeting, begins at 7:00pm in Courtroom “A” of the Faulkner County Courthouse, 801 Locust Street in Conway.
Before the full Quorum Court meeting will be three committee meetings starting at 6:00pmwith Personnel; 6:20pm Budget & Finance; and at 6:40pm Infrastructure & Roads. MEETING INFO

There’s Treasurer Janet Hibbitts monthly report and Justice Nathan Lincoln to give a report on last week’s Building and Grounds / Personnel and Public Safety Committee Meeting.
New business sees two resolutions, one approving the appointment of Mike Fisher as representative of the cities of White County as a member of the Board of Equalization and authorizing the appointment of one member to the Board of Equalization.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 7:00pm at the White County Courthouse in Searcy.
