Governmental Meetings

Batesville and Conway City Council’s and the North White County Rural Water Public Facilities Board all meet in regular session today.

It’s a light agenda for the Batesville City Council with the only new business: consideration of a resolution supporting the completion of future I-57; recognizing outgoing council member Rhonda Bryant; and an executive session.

This afternoon’s meeting begins at 5:30pm at the Batesville Municipal Building 500 E. Main Street.

Agenda items for the Conway City Council include numerous resolutions and ordinances.

Among them: a resolution approving the program year 2019 Community Development Block grant budget and submittal of Action Plan; resolution to condemn and raze the structure located at 217 Davis Street for the Code Enforcement Department; a Resolution to authorize donation of softball field light system from 5th Avenue Park to City of Guy from the Parks & Recreation Department; an Ordinance appropriating funds and approving professional services for the Salem Road Improvements from College to Dave Ward Drive; and Consideration to enter into a pipeline crossing agreement with Union Pacific Railroad Company for the Department of Sanitation.

The Conway City Council meeting begins at 6:30pm at Roberts District Court Building, 810 Parkway Street.

One hour earlier, council members will hear an update from MEMS and on the Roundabout Study.     AGENDA

The North White County Rural Water Public Facilities Board meeting begins at 7:00pm in the NOWCO Water Office, 555 Highway 385 in Judsonia.
