Governmental Meetings


Conway and Searcy City Council, Conway and Greenbrier School Board all have regularly scheduled meetings today.

Due to the lack of agenda items today’s regular Batesville City Council meeting has been cancelled.

Among the Conway City Council agenda items: consideration of appropriating asset forfeiture funds to build an $80,767.68 joint training center for the Conway police and fire departments and discussion of implementing a membership system for the McGee and Don Owen Sports Complex.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:30pm at Roberts District Court Building, 810 Parkway Street.    AGENDA

Among the Searcy City Council agenda items is a public hearing on a fifth private club permit for Searcy.

Guacamole Grill is asking the council to be allowed to pursue a license with the Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control Division.

Three other restaurants have a private club permit…Rock House, El Almacen and Colton’s.

An ordinance was passed in October for the Rib Crib to file for a permit with the ABC Board.

Tonight’s meeting is in the Council Chambers of Searcy City Hall, 401 West Arch Avenue beginning at 6:00pm.

Conway School Board agenda items include consideration of six policy revisions including admission of exchange students, prohibited student conduct, student sexual harassment, homeless students, possession and use of cell phones and other electronic devices and student promotion and retention.

That meeting begins at 6:00pm at the administration building, 2220 Prince Street.  AGENDA

The Greenbrier School Board also meets beginning at 6:00pm at 4 School Drive, in Greenbrier.
