Governmental Meetings


A plethora of governmental meetings are scheduled for today, Conway and Searcy City Council, Batesville, Cabot, Conway and Greenbrier School Boards.

The Searcy City Council agenda sees a discussion of an in-depth salary analysis, an ordinance to adopt a revised zoning map and several appointments to the Searcy Tree Board and the Searcy Board of Zoning Adjustment.

The meeting is in the City Council Chambers of Searcy City Hall located at 401 West Arch Avenue beginning at 6:00PM.

It’s a light agenda for the Conway City Council.

Agenda items include an ordinance to replace the scoreboards at the Sports Center and the McGee Center, an ordinance accepting bids and appropriating funds to refurbish concrete floors in the kennel area of the Conway Animal Welfare Unit, and an ordinance appropriating funds for renovations at the Conway Emergency Operations Center.

That meeting begins at 6:30pm at Roberts District Court Building, 810 Parkway Street.   AGENDA

On the Batesville School Board agenda; the board will consider the transfer of the “old gym” and some 2.29 acres at the Sulphur Rock campus to the city to be used for the benefit of the community.

The docket also includes routine regular reports, award recognitions and extension of contracts.

This afternoon’s meeting begins at 5:30pm at Sulphur Rock Magnet Elementary, 480 North Main Street in Sulphur Rock.

The Cabot School Board regular monthly meeting begins at 6:00pm in the boardroom at Cabot Administrative Office, 602 North Lincoln Street.     AGENDA

There will be a committee meeting at 5:15 p.m.

Conway School Board meeting begins at 6:00pm at the administration building, 2220 Prince Street.  AGENDA

The Greenbrier School Board meeting begins at 6:00pm at 4 School Drive, in Greenbrier.
