First-Degree Battery Guilty Plea

Faulkner County man was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to shooting another man in the face.

34-year old Albert Woods Jr. pled guilty to first-degree battery, theft by receiving and possession of firearms by certain persons before Faulkner County Circuit Court Judge Charles Clawson Jr. Tuesday morning.

Woods was arrested in March for the shooting of McAlton Walker which occurred at the Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Greenbrier.
