Faulkner County Polar Plunge

Saturday sees the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics at Woolly Hollow State Park in Greenbrier. Participants that jump into the cold water raise money for the Special Olympics allowing Arkansas athletes the opportunity to participate in all events at the Special Olympics.

Registration begins at 11:00am and this year’s plunge is the eighth year at Woolly Hollow.

The Polar Plunge works in connection with the Law Enforcement Torch Run, which also raises money for the Special Olympics of Arkansas.

Arkansas Special Olympics are held annually at Harding University.
