Cotton Congratulates Lockheed Martin On New Camden Production Facility
Washington, D.C. – Arkansas U.S. Senator Tom Cotton on Tuesday released the following statement congratulating Lockheed Martin for breaking ground on a new long-range fires production facility in Camden, Arkansas. This project represents a $146 million capital investment and will bring more than 300 new jobs to Camden over the next six years. This facility will produce new, top-of-the-line equipment that will help keep America’s soldiers safe. A member of Senator Cotton’s staff was on-hand for today’s groundbreaking ceremony.
“Lockheed Martin’s additional investment is a testament to south Arkansas’s workforce, which has produced world-class munitions at the Camden facility for decades. Every Arkansan can be proud of the increased role our state will play in forging our nation’s arsenal.”
