Conway Homicide Reward Increases

An unsolved murder in Conway has the reward increased.

An anonymous donor has offered $5000 for information leading to an arrest or arrests in the Terry Credit homicide case upping the reward to $17,000. The reward includes $2000 from Central Arkansas Crime Stoppers, $10,000 pledged by the Credit family along with $5000 from the anonymous donor.

It was on August 17, 2016, 50-year old Credit was found shot to death in the doorway of his mobile home at 475 East Robins around 2:30am. The Conway Police Department got a call alerting officers to shots fired and an officer in the area discovered Credit’s body. Detectives talked to witnesses at the scene who reported seeing several people get into a dark colored car and leave the area shortly after the shots were fired. They were not able to give a good description of the car or the people.

At this point no arrests have been made but this remains a very active investigation. This week, Cellebrite, a company from Israel, cracked the code on Credit’s cell phone. Detectives are now going through the contents of the phone to see if it yields leads in the case.
