Cleburne County Drug Arrest

On Monday July 2nd, Cleburne County Deputies conducted a traffic stop near Quitman for a traffic violation.

The Sheriff’s Office K9 Xinie was used to conduct an outer “K9 sniff” of the vehicle, in which the K9 positively alerted the presence of narcotics. A search of the vehicle and driver yielded approximately 140 grams of methamphetamine.

The driver, 35-year old Marcus Wynell Paul, of Little Rock, was arrested and transported to the Cleburne County Jail. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Use of a Communication Device, and Habitual Offender.
