Four Arrested On Capital Murder Charges

Last Monday, the Independence County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a deceased person in a rural area in the southern part of the county. The body was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for identification and manner of death.
Last Wednesday, Independence County Detectives notified Lonoke County Detectives of their ongoing investigation and that they believed the death occurred in Lonoke County.
During the course of the Lonoke County investigation detectives learned that the incident occurred at a residence in the 3800 block of Mt. Tabor Road just south of the City of Cabot.
The victim, identified as 49-year old James Bushart, was then carried by the suspects to Independence County where he was placed in a dumpster.
Four suspects were arrested for the Offenses of Capital Murder, Abuse of a Corpse and Tampering with Physical Evidence. They are identified as 41-year old Christy Dennis, 41-year old Timmy Hubmann, 44-year old Robert Clark and 64-year old Robert Garner all of Lonoke County.
