CADTF Arrests Two On Drug Charges

The Central Arkansas Drug Task Force has announced a couple of arrests for drug possession.

On Tuesday, CADTF Officers executed a search warrant at the residence of 54-year old LeRoy Cecil Miller, located on CW Road, based on a several month long investigation.

Miller was found in the residence and was in possession of a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Drug Premises.

On February 19th, Judsonia Police Department Officer Joe Gossett conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after it failed to stop at an intersection at Hamilton and Madison Streets in Judsonia.

During the course of the traffic stop the driver, 42-year old Christopher Mitchell, was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected methamphetamine. Mitchell who is currently on parole was placed under arrest.

Central Arkansas Drug Task Force Investigators were contacted and took over the investigation. Mitchell was transported to the White County Detention Center where he was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

CADTF Investigators will prepare a case file to be submitted to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for filing of formal charges.

Miller is being held without bond pending first court appearance and Mitchell is being held on a 25-hundred dollar bond.
