Its ten years in prison and a $2,000 fine for a Jackson County man.

Third Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Henry Boyce announced Tuesday that 27-year old Brandon Kyle Bowen, of Tuckerman, was found guilty of Residential Burglary, Theft of Property and Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons.

The jury of ten women and two men arrived at their verdict after deliberating less than an hour.

The charges arose from an incident last December in Jackson County when a home was broken into.  Guns, cash, family mementos and personal items were stolen.

The State was represented by Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Rob Ratton.
