A car versus deer accident early Sunday morning has killed a Cleburne County man.

Arkansas State Police say 20-year old Anthony Joseph Aquilino, of Higden, was traveling southbound on State Highway 225 at a high speed when he struck a deer that was standing in the southbound lane.

Aquilino’s vehicle then ran off the right side of the roadway, he over corrected causing the vehicle to roll over.

Aquilino was killed and 21-year old Jeffery Cole Galeazzi and 24-year old Dylan W. Hooten, both of Greers Ferry, were thrown from the vehicle. Another minor was injured.

Authorities say the incident happened on State Highway 225, four miles north of Greers Ferry shortly before 1:00am Sunday morning.
Meanwhile,  A weekend traffic accident in Pulaski County has killed a Faulkner County man.

Arkansas State Police say 54-year old Charles Sheppard, of Vilonia, was killed when he was walking across Highway 67 at mile marker 15 near John Harden Drive and was struck by a car.

Authorities say the incident happened just after 9:00pm Saturday night.
