ADE Launches Security Awareness Campaign


With data breaches and cyber-attacks on the rise and showing no signs of slowing down, the need to inform and equip education professionals is at an all-time high. To better prepare all staff working in or with K-12 public schools, the Arkansas Department of Education is launching a Security Awareness Campaign.

To help mitigate the potential for human error, ADE is providing online access to security resources and training opportunities to every school and district across the state. The department’s Security Awareness Campaign encourages district leaders to implement four steps: build awareness and leadership support, complete a risk assessment and data inventory, develop an incident response plan and provide continuous quality training.    MORE
