Higginson Drug Arrest

Last Friday, Higginson Police Chief Eric Patterson observed a suspicious vehicle in the city.

Chief Patterson made contact with the driver, 32-year old Christopher Harrison, of Judsonia and passenger Laura Holland.

In the vehicle was a rifle and both subjects were under state supervision. Harrison was also found to be in possession of approximately 3.8 grams of suspected methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia.

CADTF Investigators were notified and took over the investigation.

Harrison was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons and Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms.

Holland was released at the scene.

CADTF will prepare a case file that will be submitted to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for filing of formal charges.
